Feathe (rhymes with “breathe”) marks a bold new chapter for Timothy Seth Avett as Darling. Produced, recorded, and mixed by Grammy-nominated engineer Dana Nielsen, the album fuses 90s/2000s hip-hop rhythms with live acoustic textures, hook-driven vocals, and heartfelt lyricism.

Producing the special collection of music with Seth was an absolute joy. Seth recorded each of these songs in various locations and hotel rooms while touring with The Avett Brothers. Then he and I worked remotely while I mixed the album at my studio in Los Angeles.
